Job Role

Vajira House Builders is recruiting a competent and experienced Site Supervisor (වැඩබිම් පරීක්ෂක) to oversee construction site operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to manage teams and monitor work progress effectively. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary of Rs. 80,000 and above, along with performance-based increments and training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day construction site activities and ensure work progresses as per schedule and quality standards.
Monitor and manage work teams, ensuring effective utilisation of labour and resources on-site.
Maintain compliance with construction management and quality control procedures.
Ensure safety regulations and company protocols are adhered to at all times on site.
Coordinate with project management and other departments to resolve on-site issues promptly.
Report daily progress and any site-related challenges to management.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specified standards and client expectations.

Requirements (සුදුසුකම්)

Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry at a supervisory level.
Sound knowledge of construction management and quality control procedures.
Ability to lead and supervise teams and monitor work progress effectively.
Good communication skills and strong leadership abilities.
