Job Role

Siyapatha Finance PLC is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Treasury to lead and manage all treasury operations within the organisation. This is a senior leadership role that requires deep expertise in treasury management, financial risk, and capital markets. The Head of Treasury will be responsible for shaping the company’s liquidity strategy, managing funding activities, and providing critical insights to the Board and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and optimal utilisation of funds.
Develop and implement treasury strategies aligned with business objectives while ensuring adequate liquidity and capital efficiency.
Manage funding activities by liaising with local and international financial institutions, structuring and issuing short- and long-term debt instruments.
Oversee asset-liability management, chair the ALCO (Asset-Liability Committee), and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk frameworks.
Provide timely treasury reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management and the Board to support strategic and capital decisions.
Monitor market trends, interest rates, and macroeconomic indicators to inform treasury strategies.
Ensure full compliance with Central Bank of Sri Lanka regulations and internal treasury policies.

The Person

Minimum 15 years of experience in treasury, banking, or corporate finance, with proven leadership exposure.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a recognised university.
Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CA, or CFA will be a distinct advantage.
Strong expertise in cash management, funding, and financial risk management.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Deep understanding of Sri Lanka’s financial markets and regulatory environment.
