The Opportunity: Officer – Cash Operations

Richard Pieris Finance is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join its Borella branch as an Officer – Cash Operations. This role is central to the smooth daily running of branch cash management, requiring a methodical approach and a high level of integrity when handling customer deposits and cash reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and balance branch cash and petty cash on a daily basis, including system and physical cash balances
• Prepare reports on cash and check balances
• Ensure all financial and administrative procedures are followed promptly
• Issue receipts to customers upon receiving deposits from depositors
• Maintain a filing system for all finance-related activities and branch documentation
• Maintain secure key records

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 1–2 years’ work experience in a similar capacity in a bank or financial institution preferred
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• IT literacy
• Methodical and result-oriented, capable of delivering under stipulated deadlines while maintaining a high level of integrity and superior customer service
