The Opportunity: Senior Banking Assistant – Human Resources Department

Cargills Bank is looking for a Senior Banking Assistant to join its Human Resources Department. This role suits an HR professional with hands-on payroll and HRIS experience who is comfortable navigating Sri Lankan labour law while supporting day-to-day HR operations across the bank.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in HRM or Business Administration, or a professional HR qualification such as CIPM (preferred)
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Experience handling HRIS, payroll, and other HR systems is a must
• Good understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Strong experience in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan Labour law and employment regulations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
