Job Overview

Insight Resort is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Junior HR Executive. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about both hospitality and human resources, and is ready to grow their career in a dynamic beachfront setting. Candidates residing in or around Galle will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate manpower requisitions with relevant departments to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Monitor employee attendance and work schedules to maintain operational efficiency.
• Handle employee onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
• Maintain and update employee records including contract renewals, probation evaluations, and personal files.
• Coordinate training and development programs for hotel employees across all departments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Assist in employee relations matters and support conflict resolution processes in a fair and professional manner.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the hotel or hospitality industry would be a definite advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Candidates residing in or around Galle will be given preference.
