Job Overview

Amana Takaful Insurance (General) is currently on the lookout for Energetic, Talented, and Result-oriented individuals to join as Executive / Senior Executive – Motor & Non-Motor Underwriting. Key Responsibilities

Underwrite all classes of Motor and Non-Motor lines of business in accordance with company guidelines and industry standards.
Conduct portfolio analysis to assess risk exposure, profitability, and underwriting performance.
Support distribution teams in achieving the Motor and Non-Motor sales budget targets.
Manage and nurture relationships with brokers, branches, and all other key stakeholders across the distribution network.
Handle underwriting-related queries from branches and brokers in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the underwriting department on a day-to-day basis.
Maintain agreed service standards and turnaround times across all underwriting functions.

Required Skills & Abilities

Part qualification in Insurance (e.g., CII, SLII, or equivalent) — demonstrating a foundation in insurance principles and practice.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to perform data analytics using MS Excel, including use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualisation tools.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail in risk assessment and portfolio management.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
