Role Overview

Softlogic Finance PLC is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to join their Finance team at the Head Office in Colombo 10 as an Intern – Finance. This is an excellent opportunity to gain meaningful practical experience in a regulated financial services environment, working alongside experienced finance professionals within a large, professionally managed conglomerate.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance team with day-to-day accounting and financial record maintenance
• Support in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and management accounts
• Help with reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger management
• Participate in accounts payable and receivable processing
• Assist with audit preparation and financial documentation management
• Perform data entry accurately into the company’s financial management systems
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain organized filing of all financial documents and supporting records
• Assist with any other finance-related tasks assigned by the team

Who Should Apply

• Undergraduates or recent graduates in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field
• Part qualification in ACCA, CIMA, CA, or AAT is an advantage
• Good MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive work ethic
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Eager to learn and develop professionally within a leading financial institution
