About the Role
The Insurance Assistant / Officer – Life Operations will be based at the Head Office in Colombo and will play a key role in the day-to-day operational functions of the Life Operations department, supporting policy processing, documentation, and underwriting activities.
Key Responsibilities (Job Profile)
- Handle and process new insurance proposals efficiently and accurately
- Scan and upload all required documents to the company database
- Ensure timely dispatching of all policies to customers
- Support all other underwriting, servicing, and claims functions as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and documents
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operational workflow
Candidate Requirements
- Age between 20 – 25 years
- Ability to work in Tamil language will be an added advantage
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as a team player
- Residing in close proximity to Colombo
