Role Overview

MBSL is seeking motivated and knowledgeable individuals to join their team as Gold Loan Officers across all island branches. The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of gold assessment and appraisal, strong customer relationship skills, and the ability to drive business growth through targeted marketing campaigns. Job Role

• Identification and assessment of gold articles submitted by customers
• Appraise gold and process gold loan facilities in accordance with MBSL policies
• Adherence to all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations relating to gold loan operations
• Organize and carry out marketing campaigns to capture new business and expand the gold loan portfolio
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty
• Maintain accurate records of all gold loan transactions and documentation
• Ensure safe custody of pledged gold articles in accordance with security protocols
• Meet branch-level gold loan targets and contribute to overall branch performance

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge in identification and assessment of gold articles in entire gold loan operations and procedures
• G.C.E. O/L Examination with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience
• Good communication skills and strong customer service skills
• Honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented with a high level of integrity
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets
