English Teacher (Full Time) – British Way English Academy | Kalutara Branch

The Academy is now seeking a qualified and passionate Full-Time English Teacher to join their team at the Kalutara Branch.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and engaging English language lessons for students of varying age groups and proficiency levels
Conduct kids’ classes, evening classes, and online sessions as part of the role
Develop and implement structured lesson plans aligned with the academy’s curriculum
Assess student progress through tests, evaluations, and demonstrations
Manage classroom environments in a positive and disciplined manner
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning journey
Coordinate with branch management and fellow teachers to maintain teaching quality standards

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or HND in English, Education, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in English language instruction
Undergraduates with a strong passion for teaching may also apply
Strong command of both spoken and written English
Skills in lesson planning and effective classroom management
Patient, enthusiastic, and student-centered approach to teaching

Remuneration

Total remuneration package of approximately LKR 75,000, including base salary plus additional income from kids’, evening, and online classes. The final offer will be determined based on the interview and evaluation process.

Final salary will be decided according to the performance demonstrated at the evaluation (Interview + Demo).
