Role Overview

Mega Pharma Group of Companies is seeking a competent, professional, and trustworthy individual to serve as the Driver to the Group Chairman. This is a senior chauffeur role of significant responsibility, requiring the highest standards of driving professionalism, punctuality, discretion, and personal conduct. The selected candidate will be the Group Chairman’s dedicated driver and will be expected to maintain absolute confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, punctual, and professional chauffeured transportation for the Group Chairman at all times
• Plan and execute travel routes efficiently — accounting for traffic, meetings, appointments, and time constraints
• Maintain the Chairman’s vehicle in immaculate condition — ensuring cleanliness, roadworthiness, and scheduled servicing
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report any maintenance requirements immediately
• Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding the Chairman’s schedule, movements, meetings, and personal information
• Be available and responsive to the Chairman’s travel requirements — including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required
• Liaise professionally with the Chairman’s office, security, and personal staff as required

Prerequisites

• Possess a valid driving licence covering all categories of vehicles
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience with a clean, accident-free driving record
• Ability to converse fluently in Sinhala — with a good understanding of English. Ability to speak Tamil would be a distinctive advantage
• Must be prepared to work long hours — which will be duly compensated
• Company accommodation could be provided if required
• Age between 35–45 years
• Professional demeanour, impeccable personal presentation, and excellent interpersonal skills
