Open Positions — Horana & Matara Branches

CCBE is expanding their teams at the Horana and Matara branches and inviting applications for three key roles. Candidates must be willing to work on Saturdays and Sundays as part of their regular schedule.

🔹 Admin Officer

Manage front desk operations, handle student and parent inquiries, coordinate admissions, and provide administrative support to the branch. Act as the first point of contact for walk-in, phone, and online enquiries.

🔹 Finance Officer

Handle branch-level finance functions including fee collection, daily accounts, petty cash management, payment processing, and coordination with the central finance team. Prepare financial reports and assist in budget monitoring.

🔹 Marketing Officer

Drive student enrollment through community outreach, referral programmes, digital promotions, and local marketing initiatives. Work closely with the Academic and Admin teams to achieve monthly admission targets.

Key Responsibilities (All Roles)

  • Student and parent counselling — guide prospective students on Cambridge English programmes, course levels, and examination preparation
  • Handle walk-in, phone, online, and referral inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Convert inquiries into student registrations while meeting monthly admission targets
  • Work closely with the Academic, Administration, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth branch operations
  • Maintain accurate student records and branch documentation

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Education, Management, Marketing, Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Prior experience as a Student Counsellor, Course Advisor, or Front Desk Executive is an advantage
  • Experience in an educational institute or language school will be highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Sinhala and/or Tamil is an added advantage)
  • Target-oriented mindset with strong follow-up discipline
  • Basic computer literacy — Google Sheets, email, and CRM systems
  • Must be willing and available to work on Saturdays and Sundays
  • High sense of responsibility, punctuality, and teamwork mindset
