Role Overview

Superknits is seeking an Accounts Assistant responsible for managing daily accounting tasks including payments, banking, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role requires strong attention to detail, experience with accounting software (Zoho Books / QuickBooks), and the ability to support smooth financial operations and ensure compliance with company financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier payments and customer receivables accurately and on time
  • Process statutory payments (EPF, ETF, VAT, etc.) on schedule
  • Maintain and reconcile petty cash transactions
  • Record and update invoices in Zoho Books / QuickBooks
  • Handle banking activities including deposits and transfers
  • Assist in financial reporting and documentation for management
  • Maintain proper filing of all accounting records (digital and physical)
  • Support day-to-day operations with general administrative and accounting tasks as required

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office — particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial records
  • Experience in handling bank transactions
  • Familiarity with Zoho Books or QuickBooks is an advantage
  • Accounting qualification (AAT, ICASL, or equivalent) is an advantage
