Transco Travels is now seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Account Assistant (Male) to support their finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate accounts receivable and accounts payable records
• Support the preparation of bank reconciliations and ledger updates
• Help with data entry and systematic filing of financial documents
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
• Support the preparation of management accounts and audit schedules
• Verify invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers for accuracy
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems
• Perform other finance and accounting-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Following or completed AAT, CA, CIMA, ACCA, or any other recognised accounting qualification
• Undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are encouraged to apply
• Good computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of accounting software such as MYOB, QuickBooks, or Tally will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
