Job Overview

The Relationship Officer – Corporate Banking will work alongside Relationship Managers to manage the bank’s corporate client portfolio. The role involves supporting the credit evaluation process, maintaining client relationships, coordinating with legal and credit service departments, and ensuring timely resolution of client issues. The successful candidate will bring at least 5 years of credit-related banking experience, ideally with exposure to project finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Join Relationship Managers for client visits and support day-to-day client relationship management
  • Support the Relationship Manager throughout the Credit Evaluations process
  • Obtain information from clients and banks in a timely manner and assist in carrying out credit evaluation
  • Follow up on pending security documents and coordinate with the Credit Service Department
  • Coordinate with the Legal Department in the execution and completion of security documentation
  • Proactively identify and resolve client issues with a customer-service focused approach
  • Assist Relationship Managers in understanding client preferences, needs, and concerns, and respond to ad hoc customer requests in a timely manner
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage credit-related work in line with the bank’s internal guidelines

Requirements

  • Full or part professional qualification acceptable to the Bank
  • Minimum 5 years of credit-related experience in the banking sector, preferably with exposure to project finance
  • Customer service focused with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Willingness to meet work demands for urgent customer transactions and ability to build and sustain relationships with customers
  • Knowledge of general banking procedures and the ability to support Relationship Managers across all day-to-day transactions
