Current Vacancies
1. Science Teacher – Primary (Cambridge Syllabus)
The Science Teacher will deliver engaging, inquiry-based Science lessons to Primary-level students following the Cambridge International curriculum. The role requires a strong foundation in Primary Science and the ability to inspire curiosity and analytical thinking in young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Cambridge syllabus Science lessons to Primary-level students.
- Design practical experiments and hands-on activities to reinforce scientific concepts.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare students for Cambridge assessments and internal examinations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop enrichment activities and curriculum resources.
Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in Science or a related field.
- Experience teaching Primary-level Science under the Cambridge International curriculum preferred.
- Strong command of English, with enthusiasm for making Science accessible and enjoyable for young learners.
2. ENV (Environmental Studies) Teacher – Primary (National Syllabus)
The ENV Teacher will be responsible for delivering Environmental Studies to Primary-level students under the Sri Lanka National curriculum. This role calls for a dedicated educator who can connect classroom learning to real-world environmental awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Environmental Studies to Primary-level students in line with the National syllabus.
- Develop creative and engaging lesson plans that encourage environmental awareness and critical thinking.
- Monitor and report on student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Support students with diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction.
Requirements
- Relevant educational qualification with experience or interest in teaching ENV at Primary level.
- Familiarity with the Sri Lanka National curriculum is essential.
- Good communication skills in English and/or Sinhala.
3. Elocution Teacher – Intermediate Level
The Elocution Teacher will deliver structured elocution, speech, and public speaking programmes to Intermediate-level students, helping them develop confidence, clarity, and strong English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Elocution and Public Speaking to Intermediate-level students with a focus on pronunciation, diction, and delivery.
- Prepare students for internal performances, competitions, and external examinations.
- Provide personalised coaching to help students overcome communication challenges.
- Develop and maintain lesson materials and student progress records.
Requirements
- Fluent in English with excellent spoken communication skills.
- Prior experience in teaching Elocution, Speech and Drama, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Confident, articulate, and passionate about developing young communicators.
4. Geography Teacher – Intermediate Level (National Syllabus)
The Geography Teacher will deliver Geography lessons to Intermediate-level students following the Sri Lanka National curriculum. The role requires a solid grounding in Geography and the ability to present the subject in an engaging and relevant manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver National syllabus Geography lessons to Intermediate-level students.
- Incorporate maps, field data, and current geographical issues to enrich student learning.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and National examinations.
- Track and communicate student progress to parents and management.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Geography or a related field.
- Experience teaching Geography at Intermediate level under the National curriculum is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and a student-centred teaching approach.
