Role Overview

SUNICO is currently seeking qualified and experienced teachers to join their Secondary Section Cambridge Syllabus teaching team. These are full-time positions with competitive, negotiable salaries. The college is looking for educators who are passionate about their subject areas, committed to Cambridge educational standards, and capable of inspiring students to achieve their academic potential.

Available Teaching Positions – Secondary Section (Cambridge Syllabus)

Subject Level
English Language IGCSE (O/L) and Grade 9
English Literature Grades 6 to A/L
Chemistry A/L
French Language Grades 6 to A/L
Computer Science / ICT Grades 6 to A/L

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, Cambridge-aligned lessons for assigned subject(s) across the relevant grade levels
  • Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, learning resources, and assessment materials in line with Cambridge syllabus requirements
  • Guide students through IGCSE, O/L, and A/L examination preparation with structured revision programmes
  • Assess and monitor student progress through continuous evaluation, assignments, and mock examinations
  • Provide individual support and academic counselling to students who require additional assistance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student academic records and progress reports
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development programmes, and school events
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and academically stimulating classroom environment

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A Degree or relevant educational qualification in the subject area you are applying for
  • Language proficiency in the relevant subject language (English for English, French for French, etc.)
  • Previous experience teaching in a similar capacity will be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge International curriculum is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to maintaining the college’s high academic and professional standards
