Role Overview

MSH Packaging Industries is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a proven track record to join their team as a Machine Operator. The role requires a technically capable individual who can safely and efficiently operate production machinery, maintain quality standards, and contribute to the company’s commitment to sustainable packaging excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with company SOPs
• Set up machines before production starts and calibrate settings as required
• Monitor machine performance continuously during operation
• Inspect products for quality, defects, and conformance to packaging standards
• Adjust machine settings when needed to maintain optimal performance
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery and work area
• Report mechanical problems to technicians or supervisors promptly
• Follow all safety procedures and work towards achieving production targets
• Maintain accurate production logs and shift records

• Basic mechanical knowledge and technical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness
• Ability to follow instructions and safety rules diligently
• Physical stamina for standing, operating, and lifting as required

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Previous experience in machine operation is an added advantage
• Ability to work shifts and meet production deadlines
