Role Overview

Omilco Export (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a motivated and reliable Operator / Trainee Operator to join their production team at their Pannala facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production machinery within a world-class coconut food manufacturing environment. Preference will be given to candidates living around Kurunegala, Naththandiya, Kuliyapitiya, and Pannala areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently in the coconut food manufacturing facility
• Monitor machine performance and production output continuously during shifts
• Set up and calibrate machinery prior to production runs
• Inspect products for quality, consistency, and defects in line with quality standards
• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning as required
• Report any mechanical problems, anomalies, or defects to supervisors promptly
• Follow all safety procedures, production targets, and company SOPs
• Maintain accurate production records and shift logs
• Support the production team in achieving daily and weekly output targets

Requirements

• Passed the GCE A/L examination
• One year of experience in operating coconut-related products is an added advantage
• Skilled in team leadership, scheduling, and communication
• Technical skills in machine operation are considered an added advantage
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety rules
• Preference given to candidates living around Kurunegala, Naththandiya, Kuliyapitiya, and Pannala
