The campus is now seeking an IT Assistant to support its academic and administrative technology operations.

Role Overview

Unikey Global Campus is hiring an IT Assistant for their Colombo office. This role is available as Full-Time or Part-Time and is ideal for a tech-savvy individual with a passion for education technology, IT support, and learning management systems. The IT Assistant will serve as the primary technical support person for students, academic staff, and administrative teams at the campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist students and academic staff with computers, Wi-Fi connectivity, and related IT systems on a day-to-day basis
• Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications; handle basic computer hardware setup and configuration
• Maintain computer labs and ensure all equipment is functioning smoothly for student learning activities
• Manage and administer online platforms — including the Learning Management System (LMS), institutional email, and virtual classroom platforms
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all IT equipment and inventory across the campus
• Report and escalate major technical issues to external IT vendors or management in a timely manner
• Assist in setting up AV/presentation equipment for lectures, seminars, and corporate events

Requirements

• Diploma or qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Good understanding of computer hardware, software installation, and basic networking
• Experience with LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, or similar) is an advantage
• Strong communication skills — ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff and students
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with a helpful attitude
• Available for either Full-Time or Part-Time engagement
