Internship: QA Intern — Quality Assurance

Epic Technology Group is looking for a QA Intern to join their Software Quality Assurance team. This internship offers IT undergraduates a structured, hands-on exposure to professional software testing practices, QA methodologies, and the full software development lifecycle within a high-performing technology company.

Your Role — Key Responsibilities

• Assist the QA team in designing, preparing, and executing test cases to ensure software quality, functionality, and reliability
• Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications — identify, document, and report bugs, defects, and usability issues
• Support the preparation, maintenance, and version control of test documentation, test plans, and QA reports
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to help investigate and resolve identified issues
• Participate in quality assurance activities across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) — from requirements review to release testing
• Re-test fixed defects and perform regression testing to ensure software stability

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and quality assurance practices (e.g. test cases, bug reporting, regression testing)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking — the ability to find issues others might miss
• Good communication and teamwork skills — collaborative attitude in an agile team environment
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in software testing, automation, and QA tools
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Selenium, Postman, or similar is an advantage but not required
