We are currently inviting applications for the position of Pawning Officer at our Chilaw Branch. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced banking professional with a background in pawning and branch operations to be part of DFCC Bank’s growth story.

📋 You Will Be Mainly Responsible For

Managing all pawning activities at the Chilaw Branch, including the valuation, acceptance, and management of gold and jewellery articles pledged as collateral
Supporting broader branch operational functions whilst ensuring exceptional customer service at all times
Complying strictly with the policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines set by DFCC Bank and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all pawning transactions and related documentation
Ensuring secure handling and safekeeping of all pledged articles in accordance with bank policies
Building professional customer relationships and assisting clients with queries related to pawning services
Identifying opportunities to cross-sell other bank products and services to existing and new customers

🎓 You Should Ideally

Possess a minimum of 4 years of commercial banking experience, including branch operations with specific exposure to pawning activities
Have a fair and up-to-date knowledge of the products and services offered by DFCC Bank
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities
Have a genuine flair for delivering excellent customer service in a professional banking environment
Be a reliable, detail-oriented team player capable of working under operational pressure
