Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the Cambridge International and/or National curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies to support individual learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular programmes and participate in school events and activities.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher engagements.
- Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that motivates students to reach their full potential.
- Uphold the school’s vision, values, and code of conduct at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A recognised degree or diploma in Education, or a subject-specific degree with a teaching qualification (e.g., Dip.Ed, B.Ed, PGDE or equivalent).
- Proven teaching experience at secondary or international school level is a strong advantage.
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach across multiple grade levels (Junior, O/L, A/L).
- Familiarity with the Cambridge International curriculum is a significant advantage for relevant subject positions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Ability to inspire students and cultivate a genuine love of learning within the subject.
- Proficiency in using classroom technology and digital learning tools.
