Pebbles is a well-established Preschool and Daycare centre in Sri Lanka committed to delivering top-quality care and a play-based, interactive learning environment for young children. We are currently hiring Teachers and Trainee Teachers for our Nugegoda and Battaramulla branches. If you are energetic, caring, and passionate about shaping young minds, we would love to hear from you.

👩‍🏫 Positions Available

• Teacher – Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Trainee Teacher – No prior experience required; ideal for fresh graduates pursuing a career in early childhood education

📋 Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and carry out age-appropriate, play-based learning activities for preschool and daycare children
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and development
• Maintain accurate observations, child portfolios, and developmental records for each child
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily activities
• Assist in the management of the daycare environment during flexible daycare hours
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in line with early childhood education best practices
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and management to maintain the high standards of Pebbles

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

• GCE O/L and GCE A/L qualifications (mandatory)
• Diploma in Early Years Education or AMI qualification – Completed or Ongoing
• Sound knowledge of written and spoken English
• Energetic, friendly, and genuinely caring attitude towards working with children
• Age: 20–35 years
• Work Experience: Minimum 1 year for Teacher positions; not required for Trainee Teacher positions

⭐ Added Qualifications (Advantageous)

• Diploma or certification in Daycare Management
• Valid First Aid Certificate

⏰ Working Hours

7.30 AM – 2.30 PM (Standard) | Flexible Daycare: 5 or 10 days per month
