Job Role

Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Site Supervisor to oversee all on-site work related to wood flooring construction services and interior projects. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong leadership and communication skills who can manage site teams, coordinate with management and contractors, and ensure that all work is carried out safely, on schedule, and according to plan. A valid motorcycle riding licence is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all site work undertaken under wood flooring construction services and interior installation projects.
Oversee daily site activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved plans and specifications.
Monitor the workforce, assign tasks effectively, and maintain productivity targets on-site.
Ensure full health and safety compliance at all times on construction sites.
Inspect the quality of completed work and resolve any site-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Manage materials and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and management to maintain project timelines.
Prepare accurate daily and weekly site progress reports for management review.

Requirements

Minimum 3 ordinary passes at the Advanced Level and a Credit pass in Maths at the Ordinary Level Examination.
Age between 22 – 26 years.
2 or more years of experience in site supervision on construction projects will be an added advantage.
Self-motivated and result-oriented work ethic.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong management skills will be an added advantage.
A valid motorcycle riding licence is mandatory.
