Role Overview

Indoscan (Pvt) Ltd invites applications for the Post of Senior Accountant, reporting directly to the Managing Director / CEO. This is a critical senior finance role responsible for managing the full accounting function of the company with oversight of financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting functions of the company end-to-end
• Prepare management and final financial statements
• Prepare monthly cash flow statements
• Monitor product costing across the distribution portfolio
• Prepare annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, handling tax matters and statutory requirements
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
• Strengthen internal controls and financial systems in the company
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making to management
• Lead and manage the finance team
• Maintain excellent IT literacy across accounting systems

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognised university
• Part or fully qualified in CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Excellent knowledge of financial reporting including budgeting
• Sound knowledge and experience in handling tax matters
• Competence in ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Remuneration package consists of a salary above market standard and many other perks which are negotiable.
