Role Overview

Canbarra Pvt Ltd is looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and target-driven fresh graduates to join their team as Management Trainees. This is a structured trainee programme designed to develop future sales and business management leaders, offering exposure across retail operations, customer management, and business strategy. Positions are available across three locations: Battaramulla, Maharagama, and Kottawa.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily retail and online sales operations across Canbarra’s physical and digital channels
• Support the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and product requests — both in-store and via online platforms
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and loyalty
• Participate in cross-functional training across departments including sales, operations, and marketing
• Learn and apply sales strategies, pricing tactics, and business management best practices
• Prepare sales reports, inventory summaries, and business insights to assist management in decision-making
• Support online sales platforms and social media-related sales activities

Requirements

• Fresh graduates with a degree or diploma in Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
• Genuine interest in sales, retail, and e-commerce
• Good communication and negotiation skills in Sinhala and English
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and results-driven personality
• Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Basic computer knowledge — MS Office, email, and social media platforms
• Willingness to work at any of the three locations as assigned
