Internship: IT Help Desk Intern — Deloitte Sri Lanka
Deloitte Sri Lanka is inviting applications from proactive, dynamic, and self-motivated final year IT undergraduates for an IT Help Desk Internship. Key Responsibilities
- Provide initial Level 1 end-user IT support — troubleshoot hardware and software issues raised by Deloitte staff to ensure timely resolution
- Provision laptops and other IT devices for new staff and manage accurate inventory records in the IT asset register
- Support corporate events, training sessions, seminars, and board meetings with AV setup and IT assistance
- Log, track, and follow up on IT support tickets through the helpdesk system
- Assist in IT equipment setup, configuration, and maintenance tasks as directed by the IT team
- Maintain confidentiality of all IT systems, user data, and firm information at all times
Requirements
- Final year undergraduate from a reputed university with a degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field
- Dedicated team player with a professional attitude and commitment to high-quality service delivery
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles
- Strong communication skills — ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical end users
- Proactive, dynamic, and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
- High level of commitment, reliability, and professional conduct
