MAS Bodywear, one of the flagship units of MAS Holdings, is currently seeking passionate and proactive Interns in Human Resources Compliance to join its team at the Biyagama facility. This is a unique opportunity for undergraduates and recent graduates to gain valuable, hands-on experience in workplace compliance, health and safety, and labour standards in a world-class manufacturing environment.
📋 Your Role with Us
As an HR Compliance Intern, you will be embedded in the HR and Compliance team at MAS Bodywear, supporting the organisation’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workplace health, safety, and labour compliance.
- Assist in conducting workplace health and safety inspections across the facility
- Monitor and document activities related to Labour Safety and environmental compliance standards
- Support the organisation and coordination of health and safety awareness programmes, including fire drills, fire extinguisher inspections, and emergency preparedness exercises
- Help maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance audits and internal reviews
- Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and presentations for management
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure adherence to both internal policies and national labour regulations
🎓 Who We’re Looking For
- Undergraduates or recent graduates in Human Resources, Compliance, Business Management, or a related discipline
- Strong communication and team working skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Genuine interest in workplace health, safety, and compliance practices
