Role Overview
Panasian Power PLC is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join their team as an HR Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to pursue a meaningful career in the growing renewable energy sector, contributing to a company that is actively shaping a cleaner, greener Sri Lanka. The HR Assistant will support the HR Department across key functions including employee records management, onboarding, documentation, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain HR records, employee databases, and HRIS systems while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality at all times
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including employee documentation, orientation coordination, and exit procedures
- Maintain and update employee files, agreements, letters, and other HR-related documentation
- Prepare employee-related letters, contracts, confirmations, and other HR correspondence professionally
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the HR Department on a day-to-day basis
- Assist in implementing employee engagement, welfare, and HR initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and workplace culture
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory HR requirements including EPF, ETF, and other labour law obligations
- Support the coordination of HR activities, internal events, and team welfare programmes
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Human Resource Management
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or administration is an added advantage
- Good computer literacy including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of HRIS systems is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional integrity
