Job Overview
The HR Assistant at New Interiors will support the Human Resources Division in its day-to-day operations, contributing to the overall effectiveness and smooth functioning of the HR function. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual — preferably female — with a background in HRM or a related discipline who is looking to build or advance their career in human resources within a well-established and growing company.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the HR team in day-to-day human resources operations and administrative tasks
- Support recruitment processes including job posting, screening of applications, and scheduling interviews
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files accurately
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for new employees
- Assist with payroll preparation and processing under the supervision of the HR Manager
- Handle employee queries and direct them to the appropriate HR channels
- Support compliance with Sri Lanka Labour law requirements and internal HR policies
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, welfare programs, and training sessions
- Prepare HR reports, letters, memos, and other documentation as required
Requirements
- Candidates should preferably be under 30 years of age
- A Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related qualification is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage
- Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are highly valued
- Female candidates are preferable for this position
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is expected
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a proactive attitude
