Role Overview

Intrepid Travel’s Colombo office is offering a Finance Intern position. As the Finance Intern, you’ll get hands-on experience across accounts payable and receivable, whilst supporting core general accounting activities. You’ll be exposed to a diverse mix of financial and admin work — from processing revenue and cost of sales to brainstorming process improvements. You’ll support the financial operations of both Intrepid Colombo and the wider global Intrepid Brands.

What You’ll Do

• Gain hands-on experience across accounts payable and receivable
• Support core general accounting activities
• Process revenue and cost of sales entries
• Brainstorm and contribute to process improvements
• Support the financial operations of Intrepid Colombo and wider global Intrepid Brands
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
• Assist management in delivering efficient and effective financial outcomes

What You’ll Bring

• Undergraduate in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. CIMA, CA Foundation, AAT)
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Great communication and collaboration skills
• Good eye for detail and accuracy
• Passion for learning and willingness to take on diverse tasks
