Role Overview

ESOL College International is seeking motivated and passionate English Teachers to join their dynamic academic team across four branch locations: Pannipitiya, Kaduwela, Hanwella, and Kalaggala. The positions are Permanent and Full-Time. Accommodation is provided for teachers placed at the Hanwella and Kalaggala branches. The deadline for applications is 30th May 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver interactive English lessons tailored to students of varying ages and proficiency levels
  • Maintain an activity-based classroom that meets both student needs and academic standards
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes student participation and creativity
  • Assess student progress through continuous evaluation and structured assessments
  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their language development
  • Participate in college events, parent meetings, and professional development activities
  • Maintain accurate student records and attendance documentation
  • Work on Saturdays (mandatory)

Requirements

  • Qualified in BA in English / Linguistics / English Literature or CELTA
  • Fluency in English with a pleasant, friendly, and energetic personality
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • One year or more of experience in English teaching would be an added advantage
  • Willingness to work on Saturdays (mandatory)
  • Willingness to relocate to Hanwella or Kalaggala if required (accommodation provided)
