Job Roles Available

English Language Teachers — Kids & Adults
📍 Location: Ja-Ela Branch, Headway City College
⏰ Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English language lessons for kids and/or adult learners in line with the college’s academic curriculum.
• Prepare students for Cambridge English Qualifications examinations including Young Learners English (YLE), Key English Test (KET), and Preliminary English Test (PET).
• Evaluate student progress regularly through tests, assessments, and constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and prepare progress reports for students and parents.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and contribute to the development of teaching materials and resources.
• Utilise digital tools, smart boards, and online platforms to enhance classroom interactivity.
• Uphold the academic standards, code of conduct, and institutional values of Headway City College.
• Participate in parent meetings, academic reviews, and professional development activities as required.

Requirements

• Excellent English communication and language proficiency skills.
• Energetic, responsible, and capable of teaching both children and adult learners effectively.
• Experience preparing students for Cambridge exams such as YLE, KET, and PET is a strong advantage.
• A recognised English teaching qualification such as a Diploma, Degree, TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test), CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), or equivalent qualification.
• Basic computer literacy and digital teaching skills; ability to use digital teaching tools and platforms.
• Strong ability to work as part of a team and adhere to college academic standards and policies.
