Aarking is now seeking a skilled and motivated Road Construction CAD/BIM Draughtsman for deployment at their project in Mutur, Trincomalee.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing road and infrastructure drawings and coordinating with engineers to deliver accurate and timely project documentation for Aarking’s active road construction project in Mutur, Trincomalee. Apply within 7 calendar days of this advertisement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed road and infrastructure drawings using CAD and/or BIM software
• Coordinate with project engineers and site managers to ensure drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with project requirements
• Deliver timely project documentation including as-built drawings, layouts, and cross-sections
• Revise drawings based on engineer feedback and site condition changes
• Maintain an organised and accurate drawing register and document control system
• Support the engineering team in preparing reports and submissions

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Draftsmanship, CAD, BIM, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the road construction sector
• Good understanding of structural drawings and detailing practices
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work at the Mutur, Trincomalee project site
