Role Overview
SriLankan Airlines is seeking an experienced and customer-focused professional to join their London team as a Customer Services and Sales Supervisor. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate customer services and sales operations at the SriLankan Airlines London station
- Ensure all customer touchpoints — ticketing, reservations, check-in, and sales — meet the airline’s international service standards
- Lead, motivate, and manage the London ground services team to achieve operational and commercial targets
- Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve service issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective measures when required
- Coordinate with travel agents, corporate clients, and trade partners in the UK market
- Ensure compliance with IATA regulations, airline policies, and UK aviation authority requirements
- Prepare regular reports on sales, customer feedback, and station operations for submission to management
- Support the London Station Manager in planning and executing commercial and operational activities
General Requirements
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Aviation, Business, Hospitality, or a related field
- Proven experience in airline customer services, airport operations, or travel industry sales
- Supervisory or team leadership experience in an international or airline environment
- Excellent English communication skills — both written and verbal
- Strong customer service orientation with a professional and courteous approach
- Knowledge of airline reservations systems (e.g. Amadeus, Galileo) is an advantage
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom (valid work authorisation)
