Job Role: Assistant Logistics Manager

The Assistant Logistics Manager will work closely with the senior management team to support the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics and transportation operations. This is a hands-on management role that requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a solid understanding of the logistics and transport industry. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing day-to-day logistics and transportation operations
• Monitor fleet movements and ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of transport services
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and operational teams to optimize routes and schedules
• Maintain accurate records of transport activities, fleet usage, and operational data
• Assist in resolving operational issues and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery
• Support the Logistics Manager in budgeting, reporting, and performance monitoring
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in the logistics and transportation field
• Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of transport regulations and logistics management practices
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and record keeping
• A team player with strong problem-solving skills
