<p>Diana Biscuits (Pvt) Ltd and Diana Chocolates (Pvt) Ltd are inviting suitably qualified and experienced professionals to join as <strong>Assistant Accountant</strong> at their Matale operations. This role covers a broad scope spanning financial reporting, factory and transport operations, and cost control, making it ideal for a dynamic accounting professional who enjoys working close to manufacturing operations.</p>

<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>

<li>Financial reporting and analysing financial performance.</li>
<li>Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.</li>
<li>Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.</li>
<li>Strengthen internal controls and financial processes.</li>
<li>Oversee factory operations, including inventory management and reconciliation.</li>
<li>Oversee transport operations, including cost tracking and logistics coordination.</li>
<li>Manage cost-controlling functions, ensuring accurate product costing and cost analysis.</li>
<li>Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes.</li>
<li>Liaise with management and department heads, providing strategic insights to senior management.</li>

<h2>Personal Profile</h2>

<li>Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in Accountancy or Finance Management.</li>
<li>Part professional qualification in CASL, CIMA, CMA, or ACCA, or full qualification of AAT Sri Lanka.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills.</li>
<li>Leadership and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Strong analytical thinking.</li>
<li>Dynamic and able to work to tight deadlines.</li>
<li>Age below 45 years.</li>
