This role is crucial for managing the overall Finance Department and the daily operation of the company.

Position: Accounts Executive

The Job

• Prepare financial accounts for the company and its subsidiaries.
• Manage and monitor weekly and monthly cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Coordinate with banks and factoring agencies on financing and banking requirements.
• Process salary payments and statutory payments accurately and on time.
• Review and approve sales returns and price adjustments in line with company policies.
• Prepare budget variance analysis and provide recommendations to management.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and financial performance analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Systematically manage the company’s debtor portfolio.
• Process daily journal entries, including banking and accounting journals.

The Person

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a professional qualification in AAT/CA/CIMA.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an audit firm or in a trading or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office packages.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and integrity.
• Good communication skills.
• Age below 30 years.
