Located at No. 216/45, Diyawanna Place, Rajagiriya, we are looking for a young, energetic, and outgoing individual to join our Finance Division as an Accounts Assistant.

The Role

The Accounts Assistant will work within the finance division handling financial data recording, client payment processing, and tax-related matters. This role requires a candidate with solid accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with accounting software, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts independently and professionally.

Job Responsibilities

• Record financial data accurately in the QuickBooks (QB) system
• Prepare management accounts independently on a regular basis
• Process client payments as and when required
• Review financial statements prepared by the team and ensure accuracy
• Gather financial data from clients on a weekly basis
• Attend to Tax Authority matters including VAT, SSCL, and Income Tax-related issues
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records for all assigned clients

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance capacity
• Partial qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, or AAT
• Good sound knowledge of handling all tax matters related to VAT, SSCL, and Income Tax
• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office packages
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
