Job Overview

The Internship / Banking Associate programme at Amana Bank offers young, ambitious individuals the opportunity to be part of a team of professionals in a dynamic banking setting. Interns/Associates will gain practical exposure to banking operations, customer service, and financial products while developing the skills needed for a long-term career in the banking and finance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support branch banking operations and customer service activities
  • Assist in processing customer transactions and maintaining accurate records
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally and with empathy
  • Learn and apply banking products and services knowledge in day-to-day interactions
  • Support team members in achieving branch targets and service standards
  • Maintain compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements

Candidate Profile

  • Age between 18–22 years
  • GCE O/L minimum 6 passes with credits for English & Mathematics
  • GCE A/L minimum 3 passes (excluding General English)
  • Diploma/HND in Management, Finance, or any other related field
  • Certificate/Diploma in Banking & Finance from IBSL will be preferred
  • Basic IT knowledge (MS Office) is essential
  • Effective communication skills; being trilingual will be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service
  • Prior experience in Banking, Finance, or Customer Service will be an advantage
