Job Overview
The Internship / Banking Associate programme at Amana Bank offers young, ambitious individuals the opportunity to be part of a team of professionals in a dynamic banking setting. Interns/Associates will gain practical exposure to banking operations, customer service, and financial products while developing the skills needed for a long-term career in the banking and finance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support branch banking operations and customer service activities
- Assist in processing customer transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and with empathy
- Learn and apply banking products and services knowledge in day-to-day interactions
- Support team members in achieving branch targets and service standards
- Maintain compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements
Candidate Profile
- Age between 18–22 years
- GCE O/L minimum 6 passes with credits for English & Mathematics
- GCE A/L minimum 3 passes (excluding General English)
- Diploma/HND in Management, Finance, or any other related field
- Certificate/Diploma in Banking & Finance from IBSL will be preferred
- Basic IT knowledge (MS Office) is essential
- Effective communication skills; being trilingual will be an advantage
- Good interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service
- Prior experience in Banking, Finance, or Customer Service will be an advantage
