The school is now seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Female English Teacher for immediate enrollment to join their teaching team.
Job Role: English Teacher (Lady) – National Curriculum, Grades 9–11
This is an immediate vacancy for an experienced and qualified female English teacher to teach English Language at the National Curriculum level for Grades 9–11, with the ability to also handle English Literature for Grades 6–8. The ideal candidate will be passionate about English education, skilled at preparing students for GCE O/L examinations, and committed to delivering engaging and effective lessons that build strong language competency in students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language to students in Grades 9–11 following the National Curriculum
- Prepare students effectively for GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) English examinations
- Teach English Literature to students in Grades 6–8 as required
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular tests, assignments, and evaluations
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Eligibility & Requirements
- Female candidates only
- Undergraduate or Trained Teacher with recognized qualifications in English or Education
- Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in preparing students for GCE O/L examinations
- Demonstrated ability to teach English Literature for Grades 6–8
- Excellent command of the English language — spoken and written
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Patient, dedicated, and committed to student success
