Job Role: Intern – Knitting (Activewear)

MAS Fabrics Intimo, Thulhiriya is inviting bright, innovative, and motivated undergraduates and graduates to kickstart their careers in the apparel industry as a Knitting Intern within the Activewear division. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing environment, working with cutting-edge technology and contributing to real operational improvements. Your Role at MAS

• Support and contribute to raw material saving projects within the knitting department
• Monitor and oversee knitting machine operations to ensure optimal performance
• Analyze knitting machine output data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support data-driven decision making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
• Assist in documentation, reporting, and analysis of production metrics

Who We Are Looking For

• Undergraduates or Graduates in Statistics, Physical Science, or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI
• Strong communication skills — both written and spoken
• Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret data and present findings clearly
• Proactive, innovative, and eager to learn in a dynamic manufacturing environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
