Job Role: Cashier
Elcardo is hiring Cashiers for three locations across Sri Lanka: Nawala, Rathmalana, and Anuradhapura. The Cashier will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and professionally, ensuring an excellent front-of-house experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process cash, credit, debit, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers promptly.
- Maintain and balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organised cashier area.
- Escalate any discrepancies or issues to the relevant supervisor in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
- GCE O/L or equivalent educational qualification.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is an advantage.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
- Honest, reliable, and customer-focused personality.
