About the Role

Softlogic Life Insurance PLC is looking for motivated and driven individuals to join their Chilaw branch as Interns – Branch Operations. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for school leavers and A/L completers who are eager to kick-start their careers in the insurance and financial services industry.

As an Intern in Branch Operations, you will provide essential administrative support to the branch, assist the Sales Support Division, and serve as a frontline representative ensuring high levels of customer service for all who walk through the doors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative assistance to the branch operations team across day-to-day tasks.
• Prepare and process documents for the Sales Support Division accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update the registry for all documents related to branch operations, ensuring records are organized and easily retrievable.
• Answer inbound calls professionally, address customer queries, and ensure a high level of customer service at all times.
• Support the branch team during peak periods and assist with additional tasks as assigned by the branch manager.
• Uphold the Softlogic Life brand standards and professionalism in all customer and colleague interactions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Completion of G.C.E. A/Levels with good results.
• Sound knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
• A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute.
