Job Overview

Siyapatha Finance PLC is offering an exciting Internship in Human Resources, based in Colombo. This is a rare opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic undergraduate to take one small step in their career and one giant leap in their experience — gaining real-world exposure to HR functions within one of Sri Lanka’s most respected financial institutions. Internship Responsibilities

Support the HR team in day-to-day human resource functions including recruitment coordination, employee records management, and HR administration.
Assist in drafting HR communications, internal notices, and documentation for various HR processes.
Help in coordinating employee engagement activities, training sessions, and onboarding programmes.
Maintain and update employee databases and HR information systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
Prepare HR-related reports, trackers, and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and other tools.
Support the team in handling queries from staff and internal departments in a professional manner.
Contribute innovative ideas to improve HR processes and employee experience initiatives.
Assist in any other HR-related tasks assigned by the supervisor during the internship period.

Requirements

Undergraduate currently pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or a related field.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills — both written and verbal.
Creative, innovative, and passionate about technology and learning new concepts.
Age between 18 – 26 years.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment with a positive and collaborative attitude.
