Your Role

As a Compliance and Safety Intern at MAS Shadeline, you will play an active role in ensuring workplace compliance by monitoring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will conduct inspections to drive continuous improvements across the facility, while supporting awareness campaigns and employee engagement initiatives to foster a safe, compliant, and positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor day-to-day compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from compliance findings.
  • Assist in organising and facilitating safety awareness programs and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection reports, compliance checklists, and incident logs.
  • Coordinate with department heads and supervisors to ensure compliance requirements are understood and met.
  • Support the Compliance and Safety team in preparing for external audits and certifications.
  • Contribute to the development of internal compliance communication materials and training resources.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Undergraduates or graduates in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, or Human Resources.
  • Strong communication and team-working skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about workplace safety and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations will be an added advantage.
