Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the Current Account Portfolio by strengthening relationships with the existing customer base and acquiring new Business Banking and SME customers
  • Enhance revenue through introducing innovative fee-based facilities and banking services
  • Execute an aggressive and targeted sales strategy to attract new business banking and SME customers to the bank
  • Deliver a higher standard of customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and coordinating with branch managers and support departments
  • Manage all current account transaction requirements within the assigned region
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with business clients

Candidate Criteria

  • Full or part qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Banking would be beneficial
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in the banking or finance field, with exposure to Liability Sales, Business / Transactional Banking, or Relationship Banking
  • Knowledge of basic banking operations including cash and cheque facilities would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills in both Sinhala and English languages
  • A target-driven professional with proven skills in planning, negotiating, and selling
  • A confident, outgoing personality with a strong sales and customer service mindset
