Human Resource Assistant – Lloyds Auto Mart (Pvt) Ltd

With over three decades of business excellence, Lloyds Auto Mart operates across a diverse range of industries and is now seeking a results-oriented and self-motivated individual to join their team as a Human Resource Assistant.
Job Summary
The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources department with a wide range of administrative tasks, including employee record management, recruitment coordination, payroll support, and day-to-day HR operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth HR processes and efficient administration throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, screening, and scheduling interviews
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases accurately
- Support the payroll team with data collection and processing
- Handle general HR correspondence, letters, and documentation
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees
- Support the administration of staff attendance, leave management, and timesheets
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and company HR policies
- Provide administrative support to the HR department as required
Requirements
- A professional qualification in Human Resource Management (HRM)
- Prior experience in HR-related functions is essential
- Sound knowledge of local labour laws and regulations in Sri Lanka
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala
- Good computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Candidates below the age of 45 will be preferred
- Retired officials from the private sector will also be considered for contract-based employment
- Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience
