Purchasing Intern – Switz Lanka (Pvt) Ltd (Happy Hen)

The company is now looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their team as a Purchasing Intern at their Head Office in Colombo 04. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain and procurement within a leading FMCG organization in Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing / Procurement team on a day-to-day basis
  • Assist in processing purchase orders and maintaining procurement records
  • Support supplier communication and coordination
  • Help maintain and update purchasing documentation and databases
  • Assist in tracking orders and delivery schedules
  • Support the team in preparing reports and analysis related to purchasing activities
  • Participate in identifying cost-saving opportunities within the procurement process

Requirements

  • Fully or part qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with MS Word and Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-motivated individual who can work methodically with strong problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of the procurement process
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new processes and take on responsibilities
